A writer trapped in a marketer’s body by day, she blogs at midnight by candlelight. What you may witness here are merely the thoughts, opinions, reflections and musings of a gal half-frozen in the tundra of Vermont, trying to find her way in the world.
When not marketing or writing, she is a dancer, a lover and horrible procrastinator.

Hello, I’m writing because I found your blog via a link from a comment you left on StuffWhitePeopleLike.com.
I’m writing a story about this blog as part of a trend of Web sites with themes of race and class with comments following the blog posts that have become a conversation all their own. StuffWhitePeopleLike.com seems to be the catalyst for people to have conversations on the Web about the often tricky topics of race and class, in a way they wouldn’t in person, among strangers or friends.
As someone who read the blog and thought enough of it to comment — whether you like SWPL.com it or not — I’d like to hear your view on its relevance? Do you think my suggestion that these dialogues about race are carried out in these blog forums? You have my email address — my phone number at the Chronicle is 713.362.7203. Give me a ring if you’re up for a quick interview. Thanks.
